What a year! After intensive preparation, numerous internal processes and many dedicated hours, it is now official: Mark Haacke Automotive GmbH is ISO 9001-certified. A milestone that we as a company look back on with pride – and which we also see as a signal for the future.
Two big steps in one year
At the beginning of the year, we were delighted to receive significant recognition: our training courses were recognized as genuine educational services – a result of our high quality standards in terms of specialist content, didactics and methodology. This means that our training courses are now exempt from VAT in accordance with Section 4 (21) UStG, which not only brings our customers financial benefits, but also sends a clear signal of the high value of our work.
With the successful ISO 9001 certification, we have now reached the second milestone this year – a step that is particularly important to us.
Why this step is so special
The decision to become certified is not taken lightly. Those who embark on this path not only reveal processes, but also their own attitude to quality. It was clear to us: if we support our customers in the development, introduction and optimization of quality management systems, then our own structures and processes must also meet the highest standards – not only internally, but also in a way that is comprehensible and auditable from the outside.
My path to quality – a personal review
About 15 years ago, I worked as a quality management representative (QMB) for the first time – at that time still employed by a large automotive company. In my later role as Head of Conformity of Production (CoP ), I was able to increase the quality of the certificates through targeted optimization of the verification processes – while at the same time significantly reducing costs.
When I founded Mark Haacke Automotive GmbH in 2019, it was clear to me that structure, traceability and continuous improvement were part of our DNA right from the start. All processes in the company were built with this in mind – and have been continuously developed ever since.
But quality is more than just a management system on paper. It is an attitude. That ‘s why I attach great importance to ensuring that my team also internalizes this understanding – with a keen sense for clear processes, reliable results and genuine customer satisfaction.
Focus on our customers
In recent years, we have been able to support a large number of companies in setting up their own quality management systems – whether in preparation for ISO certification or as part of initial assessments by the authorities. We are particularly pleased that more and more of our customers are passing their audits without any deviations. This shows that quality can be learned, shaped – and measured.
And what about us?
Is there any truth to the saying “The cobbler has the worst lasts”? For us it was clear: No! If we take quality standards seriously, then we also take them seriously for ourselves. The decision to have our own management system certified to ISO 9001 was therefore only logical – and long overdue.
Today we can proudly say: We are ISO 9001 certified.
More than a seal – a promise
For us, this certification is not a bureaucratic tick box, but a sign both internally and externally. It shows that we are prepared to put our own processes to the test – with the same standards that we apply to our customer projects. And we do this out of the deepest conviction.
We would like to thank everyone who has accompanied us on this journey – customers, partners, employees and companions. The journey continues – with a clear goal: sustainable quality, from practice for practice.
Best regards
Mark Haacke
