A day full of valuable impulses, expertise and exchange
The Product Safety, RAPEX and Cybersecurity symposium took place in Frankfurt on March 26, 2025 – and it proved to be an outstanding industry event with consistently positive feedback.
At a time when product safety, risk assessments and cybersecurity are increasingly taking center stage, the event provided exactly the practical input that specialists and managers from the fields of development, quality management, legal and compliance need.
A versatile program with high practical relevance
Our speakers provided in-depth insights into key product safety topics and gave participants valuable tools for everyday use:
- Ralf Rathmacher (Conti Engineering Service) opened the symposium with his presentation on quantitative error analysis and the derivation of target values for complex systems.
- Veeresh Ravichand Hebbale (Conti Engineering Service) gave a practical demonstration of how platform TARA can be used to make cybersecurity efficient and targeted.
- Mark Haacke (Mark Haacke Automotive GmbH) highlighted the implementation of SAGA risk assessments (formerly RAPEX) using concrete examples from practice.
- Benedikt Stücker (Luther law firm) addressed the new features of the Product Liability Directive and explained the resulting requirements for companies.
- Thomas Fricke rounded off the symposium with his expert presentation on Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs) and highlighted their importance as a concretization of the industry standards (IATF 16949 & ISO 9001).
Open exchange and appreciative networking
Participants were particularly positive about the combination of topics, the high practical relevance of the speakers and the opportunity to talk directly to the experts.
